Well, it’s that time of the year! No, not Christmas! Not my birthday either (although that is looming over…)! It’s Blog Day! Eh?
Here’s a simple over view from the official Blog Day website:
What will happen on BlogDay?
one long moment on August 31st, bloggers from all over the world will post recommendations of 5 new Blogs, preferably Blogs that are different from their own culture, point of view and attitude. On this day, blog readers will find themselves leaping around and discovering new, unknown Blogs, celebrating the discovery of new people and new bloggers.
While the blogs I chose aren’t that ‘unknown’, I’m quite certain that not everyone has heard of them (or so I’m hoping). Anyways, let’s start!
- Yoshke.com - I love reading his short stories! I don’t know if you can call them that because they’re usually just very short. Sometimes you’d think they were snippets or excerpts of a bigger thing, but they’re not :P.
- ADJACENT the girl you never noticed - Her blog posts are really and usually very entertaining and well written. In fact she just blogged about farting in posh washroom of a posh restaurant, and it wasn’t boring read! Too bad she doesn’t allow commenting on her blog… so how on earth am I going to let her know I linked her? I honestly don’t know.
- Simargl_wings @ LiveJournal - I suppose this would be free plugging for a friend (since she really is), but the reason I linked to her LJ is because through her, I get to read various and discover various things. Reading her blog is pretty fun, really. She’s such a nice person too… (wow, I’m such a suck-up)
- Toastier.org - I love how this blog is set up. Pictures taken by the author herself + blog posts that sometimes don’t really related to the picture. It’s quite interesting. Besides, the pictures she takes are pretty darn good.
- CHNL: Knock on Wood - I can’t quite remember on how I found this blog, but I’m quite glad I did. It’s a pretty interesting read with some cool photography and recipes as well.
