OMFG YEAH!

Yay, OMG, the libraries are open! The libraries are open! The libraries are open! I could dance right now if only I wasn’t coordinately challenged and would sing too if only I could sing. After 11-12 weeks of striking, the libraries are open again! It’s something that makes me ecstatic because I prefer libraries over malls (unless I’m going to the bookstore) anytime. My friends think that’s weird, but whatever.

Hallowe’en is also coming up soon. It’s something I never really celebrated because I just don’t see the fun in dressing up. What would be fun though is seeing what my classmates will be dressing up as. I remember last year, there was this girl who dressed up as a ghoul of some sorts. We were in the same Gym class, so when it was time to change, the “ghoul” went in straight to the locker room and scared the crap out of all of us. It was pretty interesting. She told me she’d be dressing up as something else this year :P

There was also this guy dressed up as a lamp. Yes, a lamp. He had a sign saying “Turn me on”. I found it hilarious, for some reason. School’s pretty interesting on that day, really. I have a math test on Hallowe’en though… these teachers, srsly. I bet you they have a meeting of some sorts to coordinate test times and whatever. Evil, evil.

But yay! The libraries are open! Whoooo! Do you celebrate Hallowe’en? If so, are you going to dress up this year?

I don’t know how would I survive if libraries were on strike. I love libraries.

Unfortunately no Halloween for me… it’s not thing we do in Finland. Although it would be cool to go to parties and dress up.

We were never allowed to dress up at school because of people being offended by Halloween and such. Which I never understood. We had to say the pledge of allegiance at the start of school every day, which states, “Under God.” Wouldn’t that be offensive to some who aren’t religious, like me? But anyway… lol. “Turn Me On” is definitely funny.

Nothing wrong with hanging out at the library! I would too since its starting to get boring lol. But ya I would go out and buy a costume right now, but i’m like super lazy lol Hmm but if I wasn’t so much then going as a pirate would be awesome~ I love those huge hats!

Best memory of Halloween? Watching a couple of girls scream their head off while being chased by some guy waving a chainsaw about :DD

It’s okay, I prefer libraries, too :3 Even more than bookstores, since I rarely buy books and prefer to just borrow them.

I’m the same as you when it comes to Halloween. Haha, that “Turn me on” costume is pretty funny! I’m going to suggest it to a few friends that are actually dressing up…

You would rather go to the library than the mall?!!?! I’m shocked!!!!
…just kidding. :P I like bookstores more than libraries because I like sitting at the cafes and flipping through magazines and new books (I don’t like how gross the books at the library are). I’m not sure I could turn down going to the mall, though!

Hah, the lamp thing is hilarious. We don’t dress up at school here, but for trick-or-treating and halloween parties and such, I always used to dress up as a witch. What can I say, I’m unoriginal and I couldn’t come up with any better ideas!
