Frustrated Bird Photographer

So today, my family and I went on a little road trip to Horseshoe Bay and Stanley Park. It was quite fun. I did get to run around like the kid that I am and managed to get my socks and shoes wet and ravaged by sand. Here a few pictures, most of them are me trying to take “decent” pictures:

Annd, this post’s namesake: the frustrated bird photographer series!:

So why frustrated bird photographer? Let’s just say today, after I woke up, I decided to take some pictures of birds. We went to both places, saw some birds, and I phailed miserably. Why do birds fly away from me? I took a bath, I don’t smell. One of these days, I am going to photograph a bird the way I like it… -sigh-

All in all, today was fun! We did get to see more of Vancouver, even though the weather was being a meany-pants. I definitely suggest to people who enjoy scenery and nature to go and visit Stanley Park in Vancouver. It’s pretty cool. :3

(And yay… I also found the plugin I’ve been searching for for a long time! - but it appears that something is wrong with it! D: Where’s the close button. Oh noess….. Yay fixed, thanks to Gavin! This proves I should be reading more, lol.)

Hi Eina - I see you are using my plugin but it isn’t working properly for you. Have a look at comment 7 on this page for how to fix it. Hopefully it makes sense.

I have the same problem with my cat. As soon as I click the camera, she moves. :(

I’ve tried to take pictures of squirrels, but that didn’t work out very well either. :( Maybe next time, I’ll offer it an acorn so it’ll stay still…

It’s so weird to read about landmarks and know that I’ve actually been there. Yay for Vancouverites! Weather looks sucky, typical Vancouver days.

Birds are so silly. How can they possibly become e-famous if they don’t stay still and let you take pictures? Lol

Yep, it’s true about banks. You should’ve seen the expression people give me when I say “Have a nice day Mr. Geller”, haha.

You take beautiful pictures. Maybe next time you should disguise yourself as a bird or something. That’s a good plugin. I might be using it someday.

Hey, that’s cool that you get to install the lighbox plugin. I’ve been thinking if I should install it too, but I thought I’m just going to stick with coppermine viewer for a while.
