The only thing I hate about long-distance relationships with my friends back in the Philippines is that it’s mostly me doing the staying up till the crack of dawn. Although these days, I seem to be getting used to staying up till 3 AM. Meep, I’m turning into an insomniac!
Most of the times, it’s rather worth it since our conversations are not the normal ones. Okay, they’re retarded and just downright weird, but seriously, isn’t that what friends are for?
And uhm, Eye Talk (it’s in Japanese, btw). It’s this freaky Japanese make-up thing that helps their ladies appear to have bigger eyes, rather than the normal chinky one. I have to be honest… the video freaked me out. Friends are also the source of your nightmares, I tell you… >_>;

I never had long distance relationship with any friends or anything, but I will when I leave for California, but some said they wont talk to me when I live because you know the time zone is different and they think im going to forget about them, but I mean that is good that you do get to talk to your friends and staying up late, lol and yes thats what friends are for. i love your site btw.

I’ve lost a few great friends after they moved overseas but there’s still that 1 or 2 I’m able to keep in reasonable contact with. Never going to have an actual Internet dating-relationship though.

The only long-distance friendships I’ve been able to maintain decently are the ones that started out long-distance in the first place. If I’m friends with someone in person it’s harder for me to maintain contact, because I’m used to the face-to-face time, but with internet friends, I was used to internetting in the first place, so I know that if I want to talk to them at all, I’ll have to be on the net.
